All About Reading is an Orton-Gillingham-based phonics program that was developed for busy parents, teachers, and tutors who want to teach reading in the most effective way possible. It is open-and-go, multi-sensory, colorful, engaging, affordable, and it works!
Research-based multisensory instruction with lightly scripted lessons that give results. This proven, mastery-based program covers phonics, vocabulary, and comprehension ensuring no gaps in learning. Lessons take about 20 minutes a day and provide instruction in phonological awareness, phonics and decoding, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension.
All About Reading is a mastery-based program, so levels do not correspond to grade levels, but to the skills that the child has become proficient in. For this reason, All About Reading may also provide the right learning experience for older students who need remediation or have developmental delays with fine motor or speech.
Each level has a Materials Set that includes most of the items you need to teach one student. Just add the required Letter Tiles and sturdy Review Boxes with laminated divider cards, which are both used throughout all the Levels. All the books, readers, flashcards, and stickers are also available individually, including the Student Packet, necessary for each student being taught.
