The Zaner-Bloser Spelling Connections program provides students with explicit spelling instruction that will help them retain, internalize, and transfer spelling knowledge from their spelling assignments to all areas of life and literacy.

The kindergarten-workbook takes students through the full alphabet letter-by-letter (2 pages per letter), covering phonemic awareness, sound-symbol awareness, letter awareness, and spelling awareness. Students will trace and write individual letters (in Zaner-Bloser handwriting style), complete words by writing in the letter, identify pictures with the same beginning sounds, and identify the correct letter in a word. School/Home instructions and "To the Teacher" notes are provided along the bottom of the page.

The Teacher's Edition includes step-by-step lesson plans, weekly test options, and activities for daily differentiated instruction.
