Megawords teaches the reading, spelling, and contextual use of multisyllabic words through multi-sensory instruction and a systematic progression of skills. Within each book, words are presented in lists arranged by word structure and spelling pattern. Because Megawords is skill based, it can be used in a variety of settings and across all RTI tiers depending on student need and grade level.
Students first work with syllables, then combine the syllable into whole words, use them in context and work to increase reading and spelling proficiency. Work sheets and puzzles involve seeing, saying and writing often simultaneously. Each book includes an accuracy checklist and a proficiency graph. Grade 4 and up. Approx. 100 pages each, softcover.
